Weekly Update

May 31st - June 5th

Monday, June 1st - 

Normal classroom day 

We will be doing a camp fire writing project, and I am asking that students bring a flashlight from home. 

Tuesday, June 2nd - 

Field Trip

Where: Shalom Wildlife Zoo

Time: 9:30-1:00

*Depending on the time of day we will walk to First Ave. Park. 

Wednesday, June 3rd - 

Third Grade Training Camp 

We will visit the current third grade to get a sneak peek at next year. 

Desk Clean Out

At the end of the day we will be cleaning out our desk and classroom. Please bring extra bags to take EVERYTHING home. 

Thursday, June 4th - 

Track and Field Day

Please have your child dress appropriately for a morning of track and field events.

• No tank tops, sandals, or crocs please.
• Running shoes with socks are a must.
• Sunscreen would also be a good idea (please apply at home)
• Bring a reusable sports water bottle labeled with your child’s name and grade level and a snack with your child's name.

* School begins at 8:15 as usual. Grades K-8 will meet in the gym at 8:25 a.m. for devotions. Track and field events will follow devotions. Remember, if it turns out to be a rainy day, the track and field day events will be canceled and classes will be held as usual. 

* Siblings, who are not over the age of 19, are not allowed to attend trips. This policy also applies to field trips/special classroom activities that are held on the St. Paul campus.   (St. Paul Handbook)  This includes Track & Field Day.

Friday, June 5th - 

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - 10:00am Dismissal 

Students are still expected to come to the classroom at normal school start time of 8:15. If you would like to join us your child may meet you outside when we go up. 

Closing service will be held on the West Lawn at 8:25.
