Weekly Update

May 25th - 30th

May 26th - NO SCHOOL

May 27th - Field Trip 

WHO:  Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade

WHERE: Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and Picnic at Centennial Park

TIME:  Departure: 8:30am Return: 2:30pm

WHAT TO BRING:

• Dress for the weather (we will go rain or shine).  Sturdy shoes are recommended. 
• Bring your own drawstring backpack  packed with:
• Water bottle
• A brown bag disposable lunch and drink 
• A small snack

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Eat a good breakfast and be ready to enjoy a day together.

May 28th - Last Full Classroom Day 

• Campfire Story 
• Covered Wagon Project
• Cleaning out desk/classroom

May 29th - Track and Field Day 

Thursday, May 29th is Track & Field Day.  Please have your child dress appropriately for a morning of track and field events.

• No tank tops, sandals, or crocs please.
• Running shoes with socks are a must.
• Sunscreen would also be a good idea (please apply at home)
• Bring a reusable sports water bottle labeled with your child’s name and grade level.

School begins at 8:00 as usual.  Grades K-8 will meet in the gym at 8:15 a.m. for devotions.  Track and field events will follow devotions.  Remember, if it turns out to be a rainy day, the track and field day events will be canceled and classes will be held as usual. 

*Siblings, who are not over the age of 19, are not allowed to attend trips. This policy also applies to field trips/special classroom activities that are held on the St. Paul campus.   (St. Paul Handbook)  This includes Track & Field Day.

May 30th - Last Day of Second Grade!!!

We will meet in the classroom, then head up to chapel. It will be an outdoor chapel.
