Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so excited for our school year to begin and for this wonderful opportunity to work together.        

If you haven't emailed me a photo of your family, please do! You may also send in a picture with your child. We will hang everyone's family picture in our classroom so they have a little bit of home in our classroom.

Week at a Glance: 

Tuesday -          First Day of Kindergarten  - Please bring a snack, water bottle and cold lunch if not having hot lunch.

Wednesday -   Chapel  - Please wear Chapel clothes: "Dress up for Jesus". 

Gym ( Need separate shoes just for gym and socks if you do  not wear socks to school)

Thursday -        Music  

 Panther Parent Night 4:30 - 6:30 in Lower Parking Lot - Bouncy Houses, Food, Fellowship

 Friday-             Gym

 

Faith Stepping Stones is faith based parenting education from cradle to high school graduation through eight short-courses, which pull parents into the role of primary faith mentors for their own children every night through blessing, prayer, scripture, Highs & Lows, and faith dialogue (FAITH 5).

Stone 3: Entry into School (Kindergarten families)

This is a three week class geared towards parents of children entering kindergarten, that covers the physical, emotional, and spiritual development of children at this age. This class will be taught on Wednesdays, September 2, 9, and 16 from 6-7:15pm in the youth room. Check out the link to sign up:tinyurl.com/FaithStone3.

Important Upcoming Dates

Tues. Aug. 25th   First Day of School  -   A snack and water bottle will be needed each day and please make sure you order or pack a lunch. 

Wed. Aug. 26th   Chapel (Please refer to school handbook for Chapel dress code:  splgrafton.org/school/resources   Look for 2026-2027 School Handbook) Chapel is at 8:25AM.    

Thur. Aug. 27th   Panther Parent Back 2 School Night Event  4:30-6:30

Tues. Sep. 1st :  Back to School - Parent Meeting  6:00pm Whole Group with Mr. Yurk in the Family Life Center

                            Parent Meeting 6:30pm or 7:15pm with Mrs. Schultz in Mrs. Schultz's Room

Fri. Sep 4th  No School

Mon. Sep. 7th  No School, Labor Day
