Tammie Behling
Bio
Mrs. Behling is joining the St. Paul staff for her 19th year as a Lutheran educator. She has experience teaching 1st grade, 3rd grade, and math and reading intervention. She is happy to be back in the classroom with 4th graders where she has spent 12 of her teaching years so far.
She graduated from CUW in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She also received her Master’s degree in school counseling from CUW in 2009. She and her family reside in Cedarburg. She enjoys spending time with her family out and about in the community.
Her mission as a teacher is to support and encourage students as they develop skills necessary to grow in their academic abilities and seek out God’s will in their spiritual walk. She strives to create an environment where her students are eager about learning new things, motivated to work hard, and excited about the fun they will have along the way.
Brought up entirely in Lutheran schools, Mrs. Behling is grateful for the influence of Christian teachers in her life. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
