Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year

Dear Students and Parents,

I am thrilled to welcome you to the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! Orientation day is just around the corner, and I want to ensure you have all the necessary information to make it a smooth and productive experience. Please review the following carefully:

Orientation Day: August 20

What to Bring:

  • School Supplies: A complete list of required school supplies can be found on the school website. Please ensure all items are labeled with your child's name. If you ordered from First Day School Supplies, these will all be in the classroom ready for you to pick up. All supplies except Kleenex/Clorox will be placed in your locker. Those will be labeled in the hallway for you to find.

  • Completed Forms: “Tell the Teacher More” form and any physical forms if your child is participating in sports here at school.

  • Kleenex/Clorox: These can be brought to the classroom and dropped off. I will have a place in my classroom to collect them.

  • Locker Combination: I will keep these combinations on a sheet within my classroom in case a child forgets.

What to Pick Up:

  • Class Schedule: They are all printed and ready for everyone!

  • Ozaukee Art Fair Project: If you participated you it will be in my classroom ready to picked up and any checks if applicable.

Other Reminders:

  • Orientation Day Schedule: You can visit between the hours of 10AM - 12PM or 4PM - 6PM on Orientation Day. First thing to do that day is to get school pictures taken. 🙂

  • Sports: Please sign up for fall sports if you are interested in the classroom when you are here.

  • Parent Signature Needed: Please sign the athletic/music handbook.

  • Questions: If you have any questions prior to orientation day, please do not hesitate to contact me at stefanie.mielke@splgrafton.org.

The first day of school is August 25th! Unlike in the past, this day is NOT a chapel day, but August 26th (Wednesday) IS a chapel day. I will remind students of this on the first day.
