Writing
- Our next Pattern of Power reviews the basics of Infinitives, verbals that follow the pattern of “to + verb.” Writers need to recognize them in order to develop their work with ideas or descriptions that carry the impact of a verb. One student won the gold star with her response to the following: Shakespeare liked to use them in Hamlet. Be sure to relay the most famous line that contains an infinitive to me via email. You know that you will truly make my day. 🙂 I will gladly give out another gold star or two. 🙂
- Writing: We’ll begin an argumentative piece, containing a claim and reliable support.
