Week of September 20

Dear Parents,

Our first five day week was terrific!  The students are doing well.  We look forward to many great weeks ahead!  God helps us grow!

1.  Family Outing Idea:   In social studies, the students will learn about Jamestown, Virginia.  It was the first permanent English settlement in North America.  If you are out east at some point, you might want to include Jamestown and Williamsburg, Virginia, as part of your itinerary.  They are great places to stop.

2.  St. Paul WILL be having the Benefit Auction this year.  It will be an online Auction on November 14.  This is a very worthwhile event.  Save the date!  Please stay tuned to how you can help.

3.  Tuesday, September 22, we will be MAP testing .  Please make sure your child is rested.  Please emphasize the importance of this testing.  It is our hope and prayer that each child use the talents that God has given to their fullest.

4.  Chapel Offerings for the months of August and September will go for Care Boxes for St. Paul graduates that are now entering college life or starting the work force.

5.  Veggies & Ice Cream Drive-In -   It's Veggies & Ice Cream . . . with a twist! Saturday, September 26th beginning at 6:30pm we will be hosting the Veggies & Ice Cream event your kids love as a drive-in. Pack your family in the car, bring blankets and chairs, and head to St. Paul's lower parking lot for a movie under the stars on the big screen! We'll be watching a classic Veggie Tales movie, having a fun sing-a-long, and of course ending the evening with a make it yourself ice cream sundae. Don't miss the FUN, time to connect with friends, and maybe a few surprises. If you are planning to attend please sign up at  www.splgrafton.org/fig
