Fourth Grade — Mrs. Thiede

Week of April 18, 2021

Logo 20-21Dear Parents,

Through everything, remember that our Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.  May God give us comfort in all situations.

1.  Family Outing Idea:    The fourth graders will soon begin a study of national and state government in social studies.  Philadelphia is the home of Independence Hall, where the constitution was written, and the Liberty Bell.  If you are in the area, it is well worth your time to visit.

2.  The Department of Natural Resources for the state of Wisconsin generously gives   tree seedlings to fourth graders.  The trees will be ready for pick up late this week.  Each fourth grader will receive a seedling the week of April 26.  If you don't have anywhere to plant it, perhaps a gift to someone would be thoughtful.

3.  Summer School information is available for the nearby school districts.  If you are interested, please check the Echo.

4.  MAP Testing:  Just a heads up.  We will be testing the students on April 20 and April 27.  Please make sure your child is well rested.

5.  Christian Character Formation:  The story this week will be about the Road to Emmaus.  The virtue for this coming week is:  RESPONSIBILITY: God's power for you to be accountable to Him and others.

6.  We continue with  the  Tournament of Books.  The students are enjoying the adventure.

7.  The weather is predicted to be a bit cool for the end of April.  Please make sure that your son/daughter is dressed appropriately for the weather.

Have a great week!
