Age 4 Pre-K: MWF — Weekly Updates

October 19-23

Our theme this week is "pumpkins." We will be learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin, as well as, the letter "P." The kids will also have an opportunity to explore pumpkins when they become scientists and do a pumpkin observation. Our Bible story for the week is "God Brings Jacob Home Safely."

We will be having our class Fall Party on October 28.  I am going to be collecting items for a goody bag to be sent home at the end of our party.  Please consider donating a small item to be added to the goody bags. (examples- small playdohs, pumpkin erasers, pencils, bouncy balls, bead necklaces, fall stickers) We will need enough for 10 students. Please have the items to school by Monday, October 26 so I am able to assemble the bags before our party. Thank you in advance for your donations!

All of the Preschool classes will be joining together to create this year's "Happy at Home" school auction basket. We are asking that you contribute monetarily. Room parents will shop for items and create the basket. Donations can be brought in anytime. Should you want to participate in other ways, please speak to Amanda Cottrell (Harlowe's mom) or Kristin Weich (Elsie's mom) our Room Parents. Thanks for your help. Donations are due by November 6th.
