2K Little Learners

week of May 5th- Farm fun!

"Little learners have a farm E-I-E-I-O..." We will of course have to sing that for   Farm   week, along with a farm animal version of  "wheels on the bus":   The cows on the farm go moo moo ... down on the farm.  2K will create a colored cow of their choice, help make a tractor scene with a muddy pig, and make a chicken that lay's eggs with Our Letters!  We will read  Mrs. Wishy Washy's Farm, and use the smart board to read   Down on the farm.   The Little people farm sets will be a fun place to play and share this week :-). We can try to sort animals that live/do not live on a farm. We'll also keep ourselves busy finishing up some assessment games and a special project:-)

In Jesus time, we will discuss that chickens give us eggs and cows give us milk. God made those wonderful animals to do that! Reviewing the Bible story of Creation fits very well with this theme. We can be reminded that God made all of the wonderful animals and things we see in nature. We can hopefully get outside to check some of that out.

Important upcoming dates for our last month together.
