Our calling reaches beyond our immediate neighborhood. Through Children’s HopeChest's Community-to-Community model, we link our church family directly with Los Amates to help break the cycle of poverty and release the community's full potential.

As a HopeChest Friend, you partner directly with a child at the Los Amates CarePoint, walking alongside them through relationship, regular prayer, and consistent encouragement.

- Two-Way Letter Exchange: Full ongoing translation and delivery service between you and your child.
Child Sponsorship
• 80% directly funds physical support, CarePoint programming, and child development.
• 20% supports operational coordination and organizational oversight.

How long does sponsorship last?
Because development is holistic and based on each child’s educational or vocational progress, we ask friends to engage in a long-term relationship for as long as needed. However, you are never under any formal obligation beyond what you are financially able to support.
What happens if I'm no longer able to continue sponsoring?
We work to ensure that every child registered through St. Paul remains fully supported. If your circumstances change, we will actively recruit a new sponsor from our community so the child’s care remains seamless.
How does letter writing and communication work?
Children’s HopeChest provides complete translation and logistical support. You can send letters and photos directly to your sponsored child, and you will receive regular translated updates and responses back from them.
