September 28-October 2, 2026 “Numbers”
This week we learned that shapes are all around us. We talked about the many shapes we see as well as their attributes. We shared our shape from home on Wednesday and had fun guessing what everyone brought. Our letter for the week was the letter Rr. We practiced writing it and saying its sound. Our Bible lessons were about the tower of Babel and Abraham listening to God.
Also this week we had our first Kindergarten Buddy Day! The students got to work with a Kindergartener and they completed puzzles together. We will have 3 more of these special days this school year.
Next week will be all about numbers. We will practice counting numbers and objects and continue to focus on how to write numbers. Our letter will be Cc and our Bible lessons will be about Abraham sharing his land and God keeping his promise to Abraham.
This week I sent out the sign up for parent teacher conferences. These conferences are 15 minutes long and I do adhere to that timeframe. If you need more time to discuss your child’s progress, please reach out to me. If you haven’t signed up, below is the link to do so. I look forward to speaking with you about the school year so far!
