We’ve been talking about our reader voice and thinking voice.  This week we will add our distracting voice – something that we need to be on the lookout for so we can stay on task as we read.  We will begin a new novel – “Hatchet” this week.  We will have daily STOP and JOTS starting on Thursday to help us track our thinking, reactions, predictions, and connections to the text.
