It’s a rainbow of colors everywhere you look, they brighten up the pages of a picture book. You can see them in a garden or a sunset sky, even on the wings of a butterfly.” We’ll sing this Rainbow of colors song by Karyn Henley this week as we practice our colors. We will do a few color sorting games both with our toys. We will read one of my favorite books, The Splendid, Spotted Snake and make our own too.. 2K will have a blast throwing colorful little plastic balls and chasing them, and going on a colored shape hunt and talking about the colors we see outside. They did well taking a walk on the rope with loops together so we will try that again too. So many colorful things to see outside in God’s beautiful world.
Jesus time: This seems like a great week to tell the Bible story of Noah’s Ark, focusing on the promise God made with the beautiful rainbow. We have a project to go with our story this week too. God keeps his promises!
