This week 2K compares how we get ready for winter to how bears and other animals get ready. We’ll clap out the syllables to help us learn the fancy word hi-ber-nate. 2K will read a short book called “Winter is here”.   We have a bear in a cave project and a dice game with Teddy Graham bears that we will bring home to play.  Students will decorate their library bags this week that we will hopefully use on Thursday for library time.  We’ll have fun pretending to act like sleeping bears too.:-) Students may bring in a bear or other animal on Thursday to use for a hibernation game.

Jesus time: Our story this week is David and Goliath.  With God’s power we can do hard things like David did. We will have a Goliath knock down game to play and some paper story props to help us retell the story.
