Our theme this week is “Nuts About Numbers” and we will be focusing on the letter “C” for “count.”  This Wednesday we will go on a number safari with some older children from our school.  Each child will receive a paper lens and a book. The partners will search for numbers 1-10. These activities always prove to be rewarding for both buddies.  We will also practice writing our numbers in shaving cream, playing a matching number game, as well as, number Zingo.  Each child will get a turn to try out our Ozmo number app on the iPad. We will also be playing a roll and cover gumball game. Our number stories this week will be “1-2-3 Peas” and “10 Hooting Owls.”

“Jesus Feeds the 5,000” and  “Jesus Walks on the Water” are our two Bible lessons this week.  Jesus gives us all we need. Jesus wants us to call upon him for help during times of trouble.  We pray to Jesus about our needs and trust that he will help.

We will be having an Easter Hunt at school on April 13. Please consider donating some small items to be apart of our hunt. We will need 7 of each item for our class.  Please have these donations in by April 11. Thanks for your help!

Please also remember to bring in an empty plastic milk jug that is clean and dry by Friday, April 8th. We will use these to make a “bunny bucket” for our Easter Hunt. Thanks!
