Week of March 14, 2022

Dear Parents,

The weather is slowly starting to feel like spring.  Yet unfortunately, it still isn’t.  Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately since it may look wonderful outside but the temperature doesn’t always agree.

The Christian Character Formation Project theme for this next week is Diligence.  We will be looking at the story of Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind.

Keep reading for the Pizza Hut Book It rewards.

I sent home a book order form this past week.  If you would like to order any books the due date is Wednesday, March 16.  You can order online using our class code: XJTLW   If you want to send the order in please make a check payable to Scholastic.

The spelling words and memory for this week are listed below.

Dates to Remember:

Tuesday, March 15 – Memory due – Hebrews 12:1

Thursday, March 17– Memory due – 9th Commandment

Thursday, March 17 – Social Studies Test

Thursday, March 17 – Spelling Test

Memory:

Tuesday:   Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.  And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Thursday:   9th Commandment

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house.  What does this mean?   We should fear and love God so that we do not scheme to get our neighbor’s inheritance or house, or get it in a way which only appears right, but help and be of service to him in keeping it.
