Week of January 24, 2022

Dear Parents,

It was great to meet with you and your child during conferences.  It helps that all of us work together to help your child continue to learn.  This next week is National Lutheran Schools week.  We get to celebrate with all the other Lutheran schools across the country!

Instead of doing Christian Character Formation Project this next week, we will be walking through a virtual mission trip to Zambia.

There are some students taking advantage of the Pizza Hut Reading Rewards program Book It.  Keep reading and be sure to fill out the reading accomplishments each day. Make sure to send in the recording form by February 1 and I will enter it.  The February recording form will come home the first week of February.

Our class will be leading Chapel on Wednesday.  Each child has a part in the skit.  Please help them review their lines so they are very familiar with them and not have to look at their paper all the time.  You are welcome to come for chapel but we ask that families sit in the balcony.

Lutheran Schools Weeks:  There are many things planned to help us celebrate this special week.  Special dress days are:

Monday – Team Cooper Day – wear our T-shirts

Tuesday – Beach Day (shorts can be worn in the classroom if they want but they must put on pants to go outside)

Wednesday – Joyful Colors Chapel Dress Day

Thursday – Sports Day

Friday – Pajama Day / Movie Afternoon
