Week of February 28,2022

Week of February 28, 2022

Dear Parents,

We are at the end of February with only 1 week left in this 2nd semester.

The Christian Character Formation Project theme for this next week is Respect.  We will be looking at the story of Jesus’ Transformation.

The Pizza Hut Book It rewards recording sheet for February should be turned in this next week so I can enter it to get a coupon for free food.  Continue to read each night and record your reading.  I will send home the recording sheet for March this next week.

Interest Day is this coming Friday, March 4.  We have multiple sessions we will be participating in that morning.  It looks to be a fun morning.  Remember it is a 11:40am dismissal.

Due to having Interest Day on Friday we will have our Spelling Test for this week on Thursday.

The spelling words and memory for this week are below.

Dates to Remember:

Tuesday, March 1 – Memory due – Mark 9:7

Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: ‘This is my Son, whom I love.  Listen to him!’

You shall not steal.  What does this mean?  We should fear and love God so that we do not take our neighbor’s money or possessions, or get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve and protect his possessions and income.
