Happy First Week of 5th Grade!!!
It was wonderful to meet all of you on Orientation Day! It just made me so much more excited for our first day of school! A few reminders as we go into our first week of school:
Tuesday, August 25th is the first day of school! Unlike previous years, this is not a chapel day. We will have chapel on Wednesday, August 26th, so please make sure that students are in proper chapel attire. Please also look at the student handbook for dress code changes in 5th grade. The biggest change is that students may no longer wear athletic shorts.
Thursday, August 27th is the Panther Parents Back to School Night! The event will be from 4:30-6:30pm, and there will be food served by the 8th graders, free ice cream, games, bounce houses, and more! Come celebrate the beginning of the school year at this awesome event!
Tuesday, September 1st is the Back to School Informational Night. Parents will first meet in the Family Life Center at 6pm for a large group meeting. Then, parents will be dismissed to go to their child’s homeroom teacher’s meeting. You may either go to the 6:30 or 7:15 homeroom teacher meeting. There will also be a band meeting at 7:15 or 8:00.
