Week of April 4

Our theme for this week is “Oviparous.” We will be learning about different animals that lay and hatch from eggs. We will be learning about the life cycle of a chicken to help prepare us for when we get our chicken eggs after Easter break. They will also do a count, tally and graph game comparing the different oviparous animals. Each child will create their own bird this week that will be displayed at our Fine Arts Fair next weekend. Our Bible stories for the week are “Jesus Washes the Disciples Feet” and “The Garden of Gethsemane.”

Please also remember that as the weather gets warmer, we will be going outside for fresh air! Please make sure that your child has proper clothes to be outside – a warm coat and hat if necessary.

We will be having an Easter Hunt at school on April 13. Please consider donating some small items to be apart of our hunt. We will need 7 of each item for our class.  Please have these donations in by April 11. Thanks for your help!

Please also remember to bring in an empty plastic milk jug that is clean and dry by Friday, April 8th. We will use these to make a “bunny bucket” for our Easter Hunt. Thanks!
