6 Reading:  This week we will read “GUTS”, an autobiography that Gary Paulsen wrote about his real life experiences that helped him to write Hatchet.  We will use that to help us figure out Brian’s Pits and Peaks.  We will talk about our basic needs in life and how Brian will have to fill them by himself.  We will work together to find the rising action that is keeping us hooked into our reading this week.
