This week we will begin our unit on shapes. Our days will be filled with stories, games, songs, and activities to help us experience and learn about shapes in the world around us. We will learn more about shapes through a fun-filled rhyming book with our friend Mat Man. We will practice the letter “R” for rectangle in our letter journals.
Our Bible lesson will be Adam and Eve Disobey God from Genesis 3. We will talk about how we all sin and how God showed His love for us by sending Jesus as our Savior to take our sins away.
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, Sept. 23rd! The Early Childhood and Kindergarten Classes are hosting a “Popsicles and Play” event from 5:30-6:30. The St. Paul Benefit Auction will be taking place in our Family Life Center under the theme “Roll Out the Red Carpet”. There will be an online silent auction before the night of the event, along with on-site silent auction items and a live auction. This is a fun-filled event that you don’t want to miss! If you would like to make a donation, or know of a business that would be willing to donate an item or money, please let me know! In addition, our pre-k classes will be putting baskets together for the auction under the theme “Family Adventures”. Stay tuned and watch for an email with details!
