During this week, we will read the story “Stone Soup” and learn that it is important to all share and help out. We will all share our ingredients and help make a little soup for our class. A letter was sent home last week to let you know what ingredient your child should bring to help make the soup. The children will help with the preparation of the soup, and of course, the tasting. We will practice the letter “V” for vegetable in our letter books and make vegetable prints. We will also have fun finding the letters in our name to make our own bowl of “alphabet soup”. Our Bible lesson will be Jesus Calms the Storm from Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41 and Luke 8 8:22-25. We will talk about how Jesus has the power over all things and that He can help us in times of trouble.
Family Day is coming up this Friday March 18th. We will begin the day’s activities at 8:30, so there is no need to get to school early. We will have a rotation of activities and then go to chapel at the end of our day. The day is planned so that the kids can participate in activities throughout the morning with their adult guest(s).
The preschool and kindergarten pajama party has been postponed and rescheduled for April 22nd. The theme will be “Bluey”. Watch for more details coming in April.
