Fourth Grade Class Update (3/10-3/14)
Good afternoon, fourth grade families!
We definitely ended this week on a high note with Interest Day. Students had the opportunity to explore a number of hobbies, sports, professions, and interests. I love hearing the excitement at the end of the day for all of the topics that were covered by our class. Interest Day has been just one of many exciting things that the third trimester has to offer. I look forward to a great trimester ahead!
Here are your fourth grade classroom updates:
- Family Day: Family Day is two weeks from today! We invite students to bring family members/ honorary family members to join us in class for the day before spring break. Please use the following link to indicate your family’s plans for this day so I can plan accordingly: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1JXgsOEcnG9TC1Py5pvpypqS3NQRWymXvfxvbhIswheE/edit. Thank you!
- Madison Field Trip: Our class trip to Madison will take place on April 3. For this trip, we encourage every student to bring a chaperone if they are able. Since we have a long and busy day of walking around the city, it is helpful to have a chaperone for each child. Our transportation for the day will be school bus for both students and chaperones. Please also plan on arriving back to St. Paul between 4 and 4:30PM. We will not be back before the end of the school day. Permission slips will be coming out shortly!
- Lenten Church: Please feel free to join us at St. Paul for Church throughout this season of Lent. Services are every Wednesday at 4:30 and 6:30 PM, with a meal in between.
- Summer School Information for Port Washington: Port Washington Summer School enrollment information is out! If you live in the Port/Saukville district – Go to https://www.pwssd.org/families/summer-school.cfm for more information.
