For the Week of September 6

Dear Families,

Happy Labor Day!! We have rapidly and successfully ended two full weeks of school!  Wow!  We are into the routines and getting on track for a successful 3rd grade year.

This past week: We learned how God made everything perfect for Adam and Eve, but sin entered in and the world was no longer perfect.  God had a loving plan to send Jesus to save us!

Panther Pillar: August/September- Love

This past week:  We finished the first Unit in Math.  Ms. Szydel is teaching math. 

This past week: We began our first unit in our MyView.  It was about Traditional Tales.  You may have seen some of the tales coming home for the Independent reading time at home as well. 

This past week: 1.1 VC/CV pattern

We set up writing routines. 

Next Week: We will talk about Cain and Able and the Flood.

FYI…….Dot Day is September 15.  Dot day is a fun day in Third Grade where we base all activities on the book, The Dot by Peter Reynolds.  The students should wear dot clothing that day, if they have something.  We will have a Dot Day snack as well. (sign up coming soon).
