SCIENCE BLOCKS:  MONDAY, WEDNESDAY     

This past week, we spent lots of time learning about “Earth’s FOUR Systems/Spheres” (Topic 3 in our textbook). This week, we will explore the concept of CAUSE & EFFECT as we look at different ways ONE system affects (or changes) another system. Then, we will begin our last science “unit” on Ecosystems and begin a deep dive into the BIOSPHERE. We will discuss the system of classifying both living things and animals and how living things use food to make energy.  We will then spend some time learning about the roles of different living things in an ecosystem and how they depend on one another to survive. NO major tests/projects are planned.
