During this unit, we will talk a little about healthy and fun things that we can put on pizza. We will become chefs and make our own pizza and enjoy the silly story “Pete’s Pizza”. We will also learn about the concept of half and whole. We will practice the letter “P” for pizza in our letter journals. Watch for a pizza game that we will be making at school to take home to practice our number recognition. Our Bible lesson will be God helps David Kill Goliath from 1 Samuel 16 & 17. We will talk about how we should trust God to help us.
The March Calendar will be coming home this week along with Scholastic March Book Orders. Please look over the flyers. You may order online www.scholastic.com/bookclubs where there is a larger selection of books or you can complete the backside of the order forms and bring to me along with a check made out to Scholastic books.
The Panther Parents will be sponsoring an Even Odds Pizza Fundraiser Night on March 1st. . Please read this info and put the date on your calendar!
Wednesday, March 2nd begins the season of Lent where we reflect on what God has done for us through His Son, Jesus! St. Paul Lutheran Church has Lenten Services every Wednesday at 4:30pm or 6:30pm. Please come and worship with us as we learn and grow in Jesus’ love together.
Family Day is coming up on Friday March 18th. All children are invited to attend 8:15-10:45 with an adult. The day is planned so that the kids can participate in activities throughout the morning with their adult guest(s). Forms will be coming home this week. Please return the form to school so that we can plan accordingly for the day.
The preschool and kindergarten pajama party has been postponed and rescheduled for April 22nd. The theme will be “Bluey”. Watch for more details coming in April.
