This week our theme is “O-O-Oviparous.” We will learn about what the word “oviparous” means and what animals hatch from eggs. We will read a story called “Chickens Aren’t the Only Ones” to help us learn more about God’s great creatures that hatch from eggs. Our Bible lesson this week is Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man from Matthew 9:1-8. We will talk about how Jesus is God’s Son and how He has the power to heal and to forgive sins.
Listed below are some important upcoming dates to put on your calendar. We will be celebrating Mother’s Day with our “Day With Mom”. This is a special day where your child can invite their mom, grandma, aunt or other special adult female to spend a day at school doing special activities together. The invitation was sent home last Thursday and Friday. Please return your RSVP by May 1st so that we can plan appropriately.
We will also be singing in church on Sunday, May 10th at the 10:30am service. Even if you are not a member of St. Paul church, we encourage you to attend so that your child can participate in sharing their love for Jesus with our congregation.
On May 18th and 19th se will be taking our last field trip to Roden Barnyard Adventures. Please watch for a permission slip coming home in a few weeks.
We will end our preschool year on Friday, May 29th with a closing service. The 3Pre-K AM classes will have their service at 8:30 and the PM Class will have their service at 10:00am. The service will last approximately 45 minutes. The kids will be singing songs and you will have an opportunity to take your child’s picture and a class picture. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend this very special event.
Please remember that as the weather gets warmer, we will be going outside for fresh air! Please make sure that your child has proper clothes to be outside – a warm coat and hat if necessary.
