We’ll continue working with creating fluency through compound and complex sentences as well as deepening the impact of our writing through word choice and voice.

 

We continue to work on our argumentative research project.  Research & Writing Requirements for the Project are as follows:

  1. Clear argumentative topic
  2. Sufficient Research (25 – 30 notecardsDUE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2nd)
  3. Documented reliable sources: on notecards, on a Works Cited page
  4. Organized, formal outline
  5. Clear thesis statement
  6. Developed Working Draft
  7. Amazing Final Draft (3 – 4 pages, correct formatting, self-editing annotations)
  8. Presentation

Projected Due Date for Final Draft:  March 11th (due dates need to be flexible as they are adjusted according to the needs of the class)
