Room Parent
Still Looking for a Room Parent for my Classroom!
Room Parents are an important part of our school community and help make the year extra special for our teachers and students. It’s also a great way to get involved, connect with other families, and help coordinate some of the fun activities throughout the year.
Room Parent responsibilities include:
- Decorate the teacher’s classroom door for their birthday
- Email families in the class to notify them of teachers birthday
- Attend Panther Parent meetings
- Coordinate donations and volunteers for classroom parties
- Coordinate donations for the classroom school auction basket
- Coordinate donations and set up teacher appreciation week
You don’t have to do everything alone! Room Parents can work together and involve other classroom families to help with parties, donations, decorating, and other activities.

Applications for Lutheran Junior Honor Association are due Sept. 18th. Don’t delay turning them into Mrs. Yurk.
Community Service Hours
Did you help at VBS or somewhere else volunteering this summer? If so, turn in your volunteer sheet into the school office or to me. Don’t wait until April! 7th Graders need 5 hours of community service!
