Family Scripture: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7).
Updates
First, I want to thank you for the notes and gifts for my birthday. I have always been one who almost forgets the day — really, and it has nothing to do with the fact that I keep getting older 🙂 — so being reminded by my students was really special. Thank you!
As I was working on the web page announcement for this week and found the Question connected to our Christian Character Formation Project, I had to stop and pause. I wonder how often I actually pursue Jesus. Do I seek Him with all my heart? Do I go before Him, wanting His answers to my questions? Do I run to Him with gratitude, with genuine worship? Despite my failures to do so, I can confidently say that He pursues me. What a great love He has for me — for all of us.
