- We’ll continue working with creating fluency through compound and complex sentences as well as deepening the impact of our writing through word choice and voice.
- Our next writing unit takes our class down memory lane, to our first few days of 5th grade. The intent for our written pieces is to provide our current fourth graders with insights into, and ways to prepare for, their next step: entering the world of middle school. We have shared quite a few laughs about our own hurdles that now seem so minor. 🙂 Our writing pieces will reflect the following forms: recipes, friendly letters, advice columns, bumper stickers or posters, tall tales, or even top 5 lists.
