This week we are looking at the Bible stories of Jesus’ baptism and the temptation of Jesus. Tuesday’s memory quiz is on John 1:29-30 ~ The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’” Thursday’s memory quiz is on 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” The first sermon note is due October 13.
