Our 1st full week of 2 Pre-K : how exciting! Our theme is “I am Special”. We will have a Bible song titled: “Jesus knows my name” . This will tie in very well with learning the 1st letter in our name this year and the names of our friends. 2K will take one of their favorite walks ( just around lower level this time) where we find things I have posted on the wall. I will have a letter on the wall and they will be carrying their picture. We’ll make their letter sound and guide them to find the friend’s picture that belongs there. We will sing songs with our names and of course, “Jesus loves me.” Students will find a secret message with a heart on white paper, as we use watercolor paint to reveal the white crayon drawing I made. Along with exploring the center areas in our classroom, we will have chunky crayons and paper, puzzles, and manipulative toys available at the table to help strengthen our small motor skills. If the weather is nice, we may venture outside again as well. We’re generally the only group that will end the morning in the fenced grass areas. Thank you for looking for us there before heading inside for pickup.

snack the week of Sept: 7 :- Some great snack ideas include: Goldfish, applesauce pouches, yogurt( big container we can scoop from is fine) , pirate booty, yogurt bites/melts, graham crackers, bananas (we can slice),grapes we can cut into quarters, cheerios or other small cereal, muffins, and soft Nutrigrain type bars. It does not need to be in individual packages. Thank you!
