We’re continuing with Echo. In Part I, we learn Friedrich’s story, set in Germany as Hitler expands his power.

Throughout the novel, we’ll be working with building background knowledge to deepen the understanding of the incidents in the novel through brief research projects that focus on the Japanese Internment, the heart of philanthropy, and the circumstances of Mexican migrant workers.
