Fearfully and wonderfully made | TPT

September themes are  Fall, Apples, Beginning of School, God made the world, Adam & Eve, Noah, Abraham and Jacob.  In Reading, we are focusing on the sounds and the letters that spell that sound:  m, t,  a,  s, p, c, i, n, b, and r.  In Math, we will be talking about how we use math every day and the numbers 1-5.  In Social Studies, we are going over rules and laws and the importance of them.  In Writing, we are picking topics, creating pictures and telling what our picture represents.

Please remember to send socks on gym days if your child does not wear them to school.

On chapel days or special occasions, a higher standard of dress is required. This is a way of reflecting our respect for our God and the importance we place on worship.  Boys are expected to wear collared shirts, dress shirts, or sweaters and dress pants. Girls are expected to wear collared shirts, dress shirts, or sweaters and appropriate mid-thigh length skirts/dresses or dress pants.During the months of August, September, October, April, May and June students may wear dress shorts. On chapel days, the following attire is not appropriate:
• denim (any color)
• T-shirts • Sweatshirts
 • uniform/athletic clothing
• leggings not covered by mid-thigh length skirt, dress, sweater or blouse.
