Welcome to 8th grade!  This web page will be updated each Friday with information about the coming week…and beyond.

Crossing Guard: From my welcome email, please think about and let me know if your child is able to volunteer after school a few weeks a year as a crossing guard.  This can be in person at Orientation Day or via email.

First Day of School: THIS IS NOT A CHAPEL DAY!!! Chapel is Wednesday, so chapel clothes are not required on Tuesday, the first day of school.  Please wear chapel clothes Wednesday (Looking at you Ireland).

Back to School Event: Thank you to all who signed up to help for the Back to School Event on the 27th! What a great opportunity to raise money for DC combined with a fun event.  The 5 committee members (8th grade parents), Mr. Yurk, and myself will be around for you when you come for your shift to help it run smoothly.  For those of you who signed up to help at the Church Picnic, more information will come out about that soon.

Reminder: No athletic shorts.

• Tuesday, September 1 – Back to School Night (Starts @ 6pm) 
• Sunday, September 13 – Church Picnic/K-8 Sing at Church (11AM Service)
• Friday, April 30 – 10 Community Service Hours Due
