Sixth Grade and Social Studies — Mr. Wellna

January 20th - 26th

That was actually a pretty normal week.  Pretty crazy.  It's been great having Mr. Jurss here with us.  I know he will do an awesome job here.  This coming week he will be out a few days as the CUW basketball team heads to Concordia Ann Arbor for CIT (Concordia Invitational Tournament).   He plays basketball for Concordia in case I wasn't clear on that.  He is already getting set to lead 6th grade through their next speech, which will be our Informative Speech.

We do have quite a few things coming up just around the bend.  National Lutheran Schools Week starts the 27th and the students are scheduled to sing in church that day.  Families with last names L-Z sing at the 9:30 and families with last names A-K sing at the 11:00 service.  Look for the schedule with dress up days coming out next week as well!

We start speeches on Monday for Special Occasion Speech presentation.  Seven students are scheduled to go and the rest will go Tuesday and Wednesdsay.

Reminder the book fair runs all through next week.  Mrs. Willman has done a great job getting it together and the library looks awesome!
