We had a great first week back from
break. Chapel is coming along nicely and should be a great
one on Wednesday. Please be sure to look over the new mask
requirements. I have discussed them with the class as
well. The classes have all been updated. Blessings on your
weekend!

John 20:17-18: "Jesus said,
'Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father.
Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my
Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' Mary Magdalene
went to the disciples with the news: 'I have seen the Lord!' And
she told them that he had said these things to her."

Science
|
We spent most of last week on physical and
behavioral adaptations and how they help organisms survive and
thrive. We also talked about what happens when an organism is
unable to adapt to a changing environment. This week's focus
in science will continue to be ecosystems with more of a focus on
how matter and/or energy moves through an ecosystem. We are
going to analyze different types of specific ecosystems and explore
how biotic and abiotic factors interact with and depend on one
another in some specific examples. Food chains, food webs and
energy pyramids will all be part of our work this week as well as
we learn how matter and/or energy moves through an ecosystem.
I do expect to do a few small checkpoints during the week,
but NO major tests or projects are
planned. As always, you can keep up with our
day to day assignments and any changes to this schedule at
