For the Week of March 17
Dear Families,
Another exciting week in the books for our 3rd grade family! The students enjoyed many exciting activities, especially on Friday with Shamrock Celebrations.

This past week: We have been continuing the Class Book Read. It is great to see the skills the students acquired being applied. |
This past week: 3.8 Review We continued our study on Adjectives and using these skills when developing a Persuasive Poster. We also tried our hand at Limericks for St. Patrick's Day.

Next Week: We will wrap up our Persuasive Writing about their Favorite Book Character. Spelling: 4.1 Consonant + LE Students got their sheets on Friday. On Monday morning, the students need to write the words in their assignment notebook to study all week. All week we have activities to help understand the Spelling Rule. |
NJHA will be selling Puppy Chow for $3 and Rice Krispies for $2 on Wednesday, March 20. The funds raised help students in Haiti.

Grafton is excited to announce the return of their Summer Learning Program, featuring both enrichment and academic (remedial) courses tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
Enrichment Courses: These courses are open to all students residing in Grafton, without the need for a teacher's recommendation. The offerings will be detailed in our upcoming summer school brochure. Registration for these enrichment courses will commence on Thursday, April 4. For more information and continuous updates, please visit the summer school section on our district website.
