Wellna’s Weekly Update – August 30th-September 5th

We had a great first week of school!  

 

Truly, a thank you for all the work the students and parents (and grandparents!) at the Back to School Event.  It went so well and we received an incredible amount of positive feedback.  A special shout out to the committee: Michelle, Sam, Angie, Kathleen, and Rachael.  Now the other half of you get a chance to participate at the church picnic in a few weekends!  Reminder to sign up for that if you are scheduled to work it.

 

Back to School Night Informational Meeting: Tuesday night, September 1st. 

• You will meet in the Family Life Center at 6:00 for a whole school meeting.
• At 6:30 you will go to our classroom and I will meet with you.  I promise I won’t take all 45 minutes.  
• If you have other children I will also give the same information at 7:15. 

 

Reminder we are still looking for a few more people to join us on our DC trip this spring!  So far we have added 3 additional passengers and are looking for at least 3 more.

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Tuesday, September 1 – Back to School Night (Starts @ 6pm)
• Friday, September 4 – NO SCHOOL 
• Monday, September 7 – NO SCHOOL
• Sunday, September 13 – Let me know if you have any additional DC passengers before congregation gets a crack!
• Sunday, September 13 – Church Picnic/K-8 Sing at Church (11AM Service)
• Friday, April 30 – 10 Community Service Hours Due
