Weekly Update

April 7 – April 10, 2026 “Soups On”

It was a special week hearing the Easter story and learning about Jesus’ sacrifice for us. We made an Easter craft as well as a bunny bag that we used for our Easter hunt. We worked on the letter Jj and practiced writing it and saying its sound.

When we return from Spring Break, we will be talking about soup. We will learn about vegetable soup and where the vegetables come from. We will make soup in our classroom and we will have the opportunity to taste it. We will focus on the letter Vv and practice writing it and hearing its sound. Our Bible lessons will be about Nicodemus and the woman at the well.

Thank you to everyone who was able to help donate an item for our Easter hunt. It was such a fun day celebrating!

Please note a time correction to our important dates. The PreK students will be singing in church on Mother’s Day, May 10th. Normally we sing at the 9:30 service, however for a few weeks our church services will be different during that time. This means we will be singing at 10:30 that day instead.

I pray that you have a very fun and relaxing Spring Break. Blessings to you this Easter and I pray you spend some time as a family reflecting on the importance of that special day and the amazing sacrifice Jesus made for each one of us.
