Weekly Newsletter (2/14-2/18)
Good afternoon and happy Friday!

It’s crazy to think that we just finished our last full week in February. Where has the time gone? Here is your information for the coming week:
  • Since Monday is Valentine’s Day, we will be celebrating with a party in class on Monday afternoon. Please don’t forget your valentines! A class list was emailed home to help prepare.
  • We will have a half day next Friday (dismissal at 11:40). In honor of the St. Paul classic, we will be closing out the day with a pep rally. Don’t forget to wear your St. Paul spiritwear!
  • Early enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year closes this upcoming Tuesday, February 15.
  • Our Christian Character virtue for next week is justice. We will be talking about the death of John the Baptist.
  • Memory:
    • For Tuesday: “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ” (Galatians 1:10).
    • For Thursday: The fifth commandment and explanation.
      • You shall not murder. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not hurt or harm our neighbor in his body, but help and support him in every physical need.
    • Spelling: We will be focusing on multisyllabic words.
