This week 2K looks at all the cool ways we can get from here to there. We will have them share a place they like to go to by passing something around a while sitting in a circle. They can share when they are holding the object.  They are getting much better at listening and waiting/watching for their turn. We have noticed that from our very 1st calendar time compared to last week. 🙂 We will read “hello world” cars and trucks book, “Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus”, and “Trucks trucks, I love Trucks.  2K will do a car craft that is more like a puzzle. It will be fun to see how they put the pieces together.  It’s a great week for a car wash at the water table. We will scrub and dry our toy cars. There may also be some car races and of course their favorite group play idea of lining up chairs and “going” somewhere together.  We’ll finally try some blacktop/sidewalk time with the little tikes toy cars and bikes that extended care uses.  There’s enough for us each to use one! We’ve begun some writing/tracing and basic skill assessment though play and games. We’ll continue that this week and hopefully have them ready to go home before Memorial Day.  

Jesus time: We always pray God blesses us and those we love with safe travel on land or in the sky, and he’s with us no matter where we go.  This week we’ll review the story of Jesus calming the storm when He and the disciples were on a boat.

Such a fun day celebrating the special moms in our life and we thank you om’s for sharing your precious little ones with us this school year!

Pre-K will be singing in church tomorrow at the 10:30am service if your child would like to join us. ( was listed earlier in the year as 9:30, but St. Paul is testing out a temporary Sunday service time change. ) The class had a great trial run on day with Mom on Friday.

Wednesday, May 27 – last day of 2K- closing chapel at 10:00 for M,W class- kids come at usual time to keep the routine the same and they missed school from a number of Mondays off. 🙂
