Week of March 14

 This month we will be learning about “Jesus Rides into Jerusalem, Jesus Washes the Disciples Feet, Garden of Gethsemane, Peter Sins, Pilate, Jesus on the Cross, Jesus Dies, The Empty Tomb, The Guards Tell Lies”.  In Math, we will be covering money, telling time, measuring, patterning, geoboards, tangrams, adding and subtracting.  In Reading, we are continuing with snap words, beginning and ending letter sounds, consonant blends and reading short stories.  Science and Social Studies will give us opportunities to learn of God’s creation.   March themes are Dr. Seuss, The Wind Blew, nutrition, and St. Patrick’s Day.

March is the last month for the Pizza Hut Book-It! program.  The goal is 24 books.
