Week of January 31
This month we will be celebrating special themes in our classroom. Groundhog’s Day, President’s Day (Abraham Lincoln & George Washington), St. Valentine’s Day, Day and Night Sky, and Transportation. Our Jesus Time stories will be: God Teaches Us to Love Others, God Teaches Us not to Worry, Feeding of the 5,000, The Promised Land, Rahab, Jesus Walks on the Water, and Mary Anoints Jesus’ Feet.
In Reading, we will be continuing rhyming skills, ending sounds, beginning blending sounds and Reading skills. In Math, we will be exploring numbers, adding, money, estimating, measuring, and telling time.
February Book-It Goal – 22 books
February 12 – K-2 sing at 5:00pm worship service (keep watch for changes)
