Week of January 3, 2022

Dear Parents,

I pray you had a wonderful Christmas!  I hope you are having a relaxing break!!

Reminder – your child has an opportunity to attend a camp session at Camp Luther this summer.  I sent a form home the week before break.  If your child has never attended one of these sessions at Camp Luther you still have an opportunity to have your child’s name be put into the drawing to attend.  The form I sent home can still be completed and returned to me.  A parent needs to sign the form.  I have received some forms already.  Your child can still bring the form back on Monday when we return to school.

Keep reading for the Pizza Hut Reading Rewards program Book It.  Be sure to fill out the reading accomplishments each day.  You can return the December form to me and I will give them a coupon for free food at Pizza Hut.  The January form will be given to your child when we get back to school.

I will be sending home a book order for Scholastic when we get back.  I will need to have these orders back by January 13.  I gave each student a coupon to get 1 book that is less than $5 for Christmas.  They can use that with this order.

We will be having our second opportunity to take the MAP Tests.  We will take one this week on Friday at the beginning of the day.  The second test will be the following Friday at the beginning of the day.  It is important for your child to get a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast so they can focus on these tests.
