Week of February 7, 2022

Dear Parents,

We had a great celebration of 100th day this past week.

On Tuesday, February 8 we are going to Concordia University’s Children Theater Performance of “The Little Mermaid”.  We are leaving at 9:30am and returning by 12:30pm.  We will be eating when we return in our room.  A cold lunch must be brought in at the beginning of the day.   ALL students must bring a mask to wear on the bus and at the performance.

The Christian Character Formation Project theme for this week is Courage.  We will be looking at the story of Jesus raising Jairus’ daughter.

There are students taking advantage of the Pizza Hut Reading Rewards program Book It.  Keep reading and be sure to fill out the reading accomplishments each day.

We will be having a Valentine’s Day Party on Monday, February 14.  The students are invited to write a valentine for each child in the class.  I will make sure everyone will have the names of all of the students in the class to help them write out the valentines.  We will be making valentine bags at school to put the valentines in.  If you have any questions let me know.
