This month we will be celebrating special themes in our classroom. Groundhog’s Day, President’s Day (Abraham Lincoln & George Washington), St. Valentine’s Day, the Arctic, and Matter(solid, liquid, gas). Our Jesus Time stories will be: God Teaches Us to Love Others, God Teaches Us not to Worry, Feeding of the 5,000, The Promised Land, Rahab, Jesus Walks on the Water, and Mary Anoints Jesus’ Feet.
In Reading, we will be continuing rhyming skills, ending sounds, beginning blending sounds and Reading skills. In Math, we will be exploring numbers, adding, money, estimating, measuring, and telling time.
February Book-It Goal – 22 books
Veggies, Valentines, and Ice Cream Families are invited to come join us on Friday, February 11 from 6-7:30pm as we watch Beauty and the Beet Veggie Tales. We will also be making valentines and enjoying some ice cream. There is a signup link in the Echo.
February 12 – K-2 sings at 5:00pm worship service. Please have students to the undercroft by 4:40pm.
