Week of February 13th

Family Scripture:  “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10

Updates

A few highlights:

  • The church is still standing even after our acolyte training!  Please do consider signing up for times to serve as either an acolyte or a power point operator.
  • I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to teach Confirmation this year.  It has become a time for all of us to deepen our faith — through digging into God’s word, through discussion, through listening, and through responding.  Truly nothing is more important. 🙂
  • The St. Paul Classic tournament is next weekend already!!!  Please consider volunteering — there are many ways we can serve!
  • Early Registration closes on Tuesday, February 15th.
  • Our chapel offerings this month will go to supporting our two students in Haiti:  Denison and Christmichel.
  • Dinner is decided for March 1st:  Even Odds Pizza!! (see fundraising information 🙂
